Dear Parents,


We continue to be encouraged here at Island ECC Kid's Club by just how much the children are taking in each Sunday morning and how much they are feeding back to us.

We completed our Vacation Bible School (VBS) - Egypt, and it was a great success. We have had a lot of positive feedback from both parents and children about how much they love Egypt. Attendance was at a high, with almost 200 children showing up for one of the 9.30am services. And with over 50 adults and youth volunteering at each service, we were jam-packed. Fortunately, we were prepared for the increase in numbers, and took measures to keep congestion to a minimum.

With summer now in full swing, we are experimenting with new curriculum. 252 Basics is a cross between our current Elevate and FaithWeaver series, and which we will be using for our older children in Mount Sinai and Red Sea (8,9,&10 yr. old's) during the summer. We have reached the end of the In The Beginning series and feel it is time to move on to something new, so while we experiment with 252 Basics for the older students during the summer, we will be using Elevate Jr. to teach those in Noah's Ark and Jordan River. To make things easier for our new volunteers for the summer, we will be using Elevate during both morning services for all other classes. We continue to use FaithWeaver in the nursery.

Please note that due to the lower expectancy of attendees for the summer, we have combined our classes. Please refer to the table below to determine where to pick up your children after service.

Worship for children in Mount Sinai and Red Sea will take place in designated spots on the 2nd floor, before being taken to class on the 8th floor. All other children (except Nursery) will be having worship as usual in the 9th floor Lime and Green Rooms.
