Tobin has worn many "hats" since coming to the church in 2003, and is currently serving as the Teaching Pastor and is trying to understand exactly what that means in a church as diverse as ours. Tobin and his wife, Christina,who was born in Hong Kong moved to Hong Kong after serving for 16 years with Campus Crusade for Christ in the United States and in a communist country in Asia.
Born in Texas into a military family from Montana, that moved every 3 years, Tobin is still trying to figure out where he calls home. Tobin studied medicine at Auburn University, served as the Chaplain for the University of Texas Athletic teams and started to travel in Asia where he fell in love with that part of the world. In the last 15 years, he took a short break from serving in Asia to go back to the States to complete a seminary degree at Dallas Theological Seminary and to get married to Christina, before they moved back to Asia in 1998.
In his free time Tobin loves taking his wife out on dates and wrestling with his four kiddos, Rachel, Rebekah, Kipp, and Katelyn. He also loves Auburn Football, Scuba Diving, the Outdoors, a good book and excellent Tex/Mex food.
